The Massachusetts Baseball Coaches Association (MBCA) will wrap up its activities with the traditional end-of-season All-Star Game roster, featuring the best high school players from across the state.

This year, the 44th Annual MBCA Senior All-Star Game, the 14th Annual Junior Select All-Star Game for Class of 2023 players and the 5th Sophomore Select All-Star Game for Class of 2024 players are on the schedule this year.

The 14th annual MBCA Junior Select All-Star Game will be held in a doubleheader on Sunday, June 19 at Rotondi Field/Howard Park, 220 Maplewood St., Malden, MA at 10:30 a.m. The fifth annual MBCA Sophomore Select All-Star Game will be held the same day at 2 p.m. The twin poster will be coordinated by MBCA Hall of Famers Steve Freker (Malden), John O’Brien (Lynnfield) and Steve Healy (BC High).

The 44th annual Senior All-Star Game will take place at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 27 at Monan Field in Dorchester. Coordinating this game are MBCA Hall of Famers Frank Carey (former North Reading coaching legend) and Dwayne Follette (Plymouth North).

The rosters for the three high-profile games are being assembled and are expected to be announced shortly, in conjunction with the start of the MIAA State Baseball Tournament. The games are held to provide a showcase for players to compete, show off their skills, and represent their schools. There is no cost to players and their families to participate in these games.

MBCA member coaches submitted nominations for the Sophomore and Junior Select All-Star games for consideration. The rosters for the Senior All-Star Game are selected after the League All-Star Teams and Most Valuable Players are announced.
